The Dell 1600n is a modern multifunction laser printer. The scanner and output are fast, and only take around 10 seconds from pressing the copy button to the first copy, and under 5 seconds for the next copy. You need no warm up time when you fire up this computer. Once you scan a document, you can either save it to the computer as a file, or to e-mail, to an optical character recognition program, or as an image.
