Also, it has a document feeder good for about 50 pages, which makes it a versatile player in the segment.

Longevity. Because it has a 60,000 page duty cycle, the need for imaging drum replacement and other maintenance may not be a frequent as expected, especially in a small business. This factor helps to make its cost to own attractive to many a business person. And with Dell 3115cn laser toner cartridge lives of 5000 monochrome or 4000 vivid color pages, it could be a while before additional toner is needed.

How Do Documents Look? With 600dpi, document quality is okay for general purposes. Color pages are also okay, and they both fall within what’s available in this market niche.

Supplemental Facts. The Dell 3115cn faxes, scans and produces good-quality monochrome and color documents. If you’re just starting out in your business, the fact that it’s an all-in-one could be a plus. You won’t need to buy separate fax and scanner machines, leaving a bit more green in your wallet for other more important business matters. The unit also helps manage document archiving through its proprietary PaperPort 10 software. And the fax can serve solo or through a linked-in PC or network.

Keeping Track of Toners. All printers eventually need new toner. Dell’s tracking system (included with the printer) makes getting it done relatively easily. It’ll even send you an email telling you when it’s time to feed it some more toner. Also, you can select which among your network of computers will be allowed to print color documents and which won’t. This can save precious color printing resources.

It’s Multi-Dimensional. With a machine as versatile as the Dell 3115cn and its Dell 3115cn laser toners, high volume print jobs can be handled with little muss or fuss. And because it’s an all-in-one, there’s little worry about also hooking up scanners or faxes. It comes with USB 2.0 and Ethernet ports along with an optional 802.11 wireless capability, which might help eliminate unsightly wires and cables lying around in the office.
